Let’s pause a moment and think about some of our fondest vacation
memories: Childhood vacations with our parents, fun vacations when our
parents let us bring our best friend along and now the opportunity to enjoy
memorable -vacations with our grandchildren. Also, let’s recall
just how we felt after that -special vacation . . . refreshed, relaxed,
restored
and ready to take on the world.
Indeed, this “time spent together” is every
-family’s
most precious resource. And whether you choose to make this year’s
family vacation a multi-generation get-together and family reunion, a vacation
with just your immediate family, or whether you want to plan a fabulous
trip that also includes your best friends who are like “family” .
. . we have great suggestions and ideas to make it the best “family
vacation” ever! Fun family options can range from a multi-generation
cruise through the warm waters of the Caribbean to a vacation in the Rocky
Mountains; a chance to ignite that spark of adventure for
your youngsters on a safari, to -visiting museums and galleries in our
nation’s capital, to experiencing the awesome beauty and ruggedness
of Alaska, to touring the ancient, historic cities of the Continent or maybe
riding the rapids and taking a canopy walk in the -jungles of Costa Rica.
It’s all this and more
. . . NOW is the time to sit down with the family and decide: “Where
in the world do we want to go?”
All of us, no doubt, have a list of places we “must see” and
things we “must do” in our lifetime. Perhaps your children
(or grandchildren) have a budding interest in music, art, dance, cooking
or science. What better way for them to nurture that interest and develop
that talent than with “firsthand” experience – e.g.
a cooking school in Tuscany, a trip to the Smithsonian in Washington,
DC,
or a visit to the Louvre in Paris!
We don’t have to tell you: Some things in life are expendable. But “reconnecting
with ourselves, our families and our loved ones” is not. Travel is
that conduit that helps us “reconnect.” Please give us a call
or stop by. And remember . . . wherever you want to go . . . we can get
you there. Yes . . . It is definitely families to the forefront . . . ready,
set, travel!“… It is not enough to say I have been there.
A
voyage is not just a journey. It’s a period carved out of
time, when the impossible can happen.”
